Not all this places brings Tango Concerts, but they are so related with this city at the point that theirselves are Tango written in mahogany, marble and granite.

Founded in 1858, honours its desapeared partner in Paris, in which was inspired his owner. Everybody has been there, Einstein, The King Juan Carlos from Spain, Hillary Clinton, Borges, Gardel, Alfonsina Storni, and so many others.

Confitería Las Violetas
Lost by its original owners this centenary luxury Café, was recovered by its waiters and employees who manage it the way of a cooperative. Famous because its tea tables, there is no tommy able to fit all that delitious cakes, cookies, sandwichs, sweet chips and pastries. Las Violetas have its own bakery and patisserie. Inadmissible be in Buenos Aires and not visit this place. Here started under a facade of birthdays their meetings the Plaza de Mayo Mothers.

Confitería Ideal

Recovered a few years ago by an ex-waiter of the Tortoni Café, who gave his soul, live and all his savings to keep it intact as when it was founded in the 40's. From its windows you can see the portenan beat of the corner of Tucumán and Rodriguez Peña. All its details are original and well cared . If you are lucky, you will be attend by his owner. This, more than a Café, is the story of a dream with happy end.

it was born in 1900, in a farm neighbourhood, today full urbanized. Highlights are the traditional coffee machine, a wonder of industrial silverwork, the glicinas (local flowers) and an original score of the Tango Nostalgia, of Cadícamo. If you are hungry, try the elephatiasic "picadas" (nibbles)
